Who is Philip Jones?

I've been designing websites since I graduated in 1998 and have learnt a lot about what and what not to do in the process.
Over the last decade I have worked on many exciting projects and specialized in front-end design and usability.
I'm based in London and my clients have included Siemens, Microsoft and the Glastonbury Festival. I am currently designing for one of the UK’s leading publishers and event organisers.
I take a strong interest in web trends and contribute to the World Wide Web Consortium as well as various other design forums and organisations.
Away from computers, I love running, cycling and writing music.
Skills & packages
I have all the skills a client or company would want from a web designer.
As well as possessing a strong design degree, I'm an advanced CSS and HTML/XHTML coder. I'm also good with Javascript, jQuery and a knowledge of .asp, .php, ColdFusion and .net makes me developer friendly.
I'm proficient with the Adobe Creative Suite which includes Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver and Flash. I also use Microsoft Expression Web.
I design with web accessibility issues in mind, ensure all my code meets W3C web standards and is cross-browser compatible.
I am confident in presenting to clients and work happily alone or in a team.
I'm also pretty handy with a Ukulele.
