I've been designing websites and online marketing since I graduated in 1998 and have learnt a lot about what and what not to do in the process.

I focus on aesthetics, web standards, and usability.

Over the last decade I have worked on many exciting projects and specialized in front-end design and development.

I'm based in London and my clients have included Ticketmaster, The Metropolitan Police Service and the Glastonbury Festival.

I am currently working for the world's leading concert and live events promoter.

Away from computers, I love running, cycling and writing music.

Skills & packages

I have all the skills a client or company would expect from a Web Designer and more.

As well as possessing a design degree, I am an advanced CSS and HTML/XHTML coder (including HTML5 & CSS3). I'm also good with Javascript, jQuery libraries and an understanding of .asp, .php, ColdFusion and .NET - makes me developer friendly.

I'm proficient with the Adobe Creative Suite which includes Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver and Flash. I also use Microsoft Expression Web and Visual Web Developer.

I can design for Word Press and similar content management systems. I am also adept with version control software.

I can record, edit and produce video for the web using Final Cut Pro.

I design with web accessibility issues in mind, ensure all my code meets W3C web standards and is cross-browser compliant.

I am confident in presenting to clients and work happily alone or in a team.

I'm also pretty handy with a ukulele.
